About Me

Dr. Ashley Taweel was born and raised in Dartmouth, NS and is proud to come from the lineage of the “PEI Taweels”. In 2014, she earned her BSc with Honours in Chemistry from Mount Allison University and then graduated on the Dean’s Honours list with her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2018. Dr. Taweel has practiced in her home province since graduation and looks forward to continuing to provide comprehensive eye exams in an open and inclusive environment. When Ashley is not at the office, she is spending time with her partner and three dogs or trying to tap into her creative side.
